Library

The e-Library@Iowa State University is the electronic door to the collections and services of the physical library. The e-Library offers expanded, remote access to the physical library any time of day or night. Services available from remote locations.
e-Reserve materials
Each course instructor specifies the materials he or she wants on reserve at Parks Library. e-Reserve library materials are accessible by registered Iowa State students any time of day or night. Images are available in PDF format and viewed through Adobe Acrobat Reader. Documents may be viewed from any World Wide Web capable machine anywhere in the world.

To access e-Reserve materials, you need an Iowa State e-mail address, and an Iowa State ID number. New Iowa State e-mail addresses may take up to a week to be accessed by the library system. If you do not have an e-mail address active in the library database, you may contact the Parks Library circulation desk staff at CircDesk@iastate.edu or (515) 294-3961. You will need to set your personal identification number (PIN) to use on the library site. e-Reserve materials are listed by course and by instructor at www.lib.iastate.edu/class/ers/ereserve.html.
