The
Iowa Communications Network (ICN) is a statewide telecommunications
system installed by the state of Iowa to handle telephone,
data, and video/audio transmissions via fiber optic cable.
The ICN currently has more than 700 sites at regents institutions,
community colleges, armories, hospitals, libraries, and
high schools, each with the capability to transmit or receive
ICN videoconferences. Satellite and compressed video can
also be connected to ICN sites for videoconferencing within
the United States and around the world.
Visit the ICN
Web site.
Information on all ICN Web sites may be found at http://www3.iptv.org/iowa_database/aeamap.cfm
