Earn
your MBA after work with evening courses in Des Moines.
Classes meet twice per week from 5:45-9:15 p.m. You progress
through the core curriculum with a cohort, developing camaraderie
with colleagues from a variety of businesses and industries.
The
48-credit program can be completed in 31 months or less.
The first four semesters are designed to help build a strong
foundation of core business knowledge; the final four semesters
tailor your education to your unique academic and career
goals. You may concentrate on a general management MBA or
specialize in finance, information systems, or marketing.
Other specializations are available, however, you will most
likely need to take several evening courses in Ames.
The
fall and spring semesters are 12 weeks; two six-week sessions
are held during the summer. Instructors are the same faculty
who teach in the full-time program in Ames. The Des Moines
program debuted in 1999.
MBA/MS
in Information Systems Double Degree
This degree program combines the comprehensive management
education of the Iowa State MBA and the in-depth study of
the management information systems master's. The double
degree can be completed through the Des Moines MBA program.
