Evening Master of Business Administration

On-site in Des Moines

Earn your MBA after work with evening courses in Des Moines. Classes meet twice per week from 5:45-9:15 p.m. You progress through the core curriculum with a cohort, developing camaraderie with colleagues from a variety of businesses and industries.

The 48-credit program can be completed in 31 months or less. The first four semesters are designed to help build a strong foundation of core business knowledge; the final four semesters tailor your education to your unique academic and career goals. You may concentrate on a general management MBA or specialize in finance, information systems, or marketing. Other specializations are available, however, you will most likely need to take several evening courses in Ames.

The fall and spring semesters are 12 weeks; two six-week sessions are held during the summer. Instructors are the same faculty who teach in the full-time program in Ames. The Des Moines program debuted in 1999.

MBA/MS in Information Systems Double Degree
This degree program combines the comprehensive management education of the Iowa State MBA and the in-depth study of the management information systems master's. The double degree can be completed through the Des Moines MBA program.
