Admission
All applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related major from an accredited university or college.

Two application options exist.

1. Degree Seeking
Submit
•an ISU Graduate College Application, [available at www.grad-college.iastate.edu or call (800) 262-3810 to request a form]
•official transcripts,
•Graduate Record Examination (GRE),
•three (3) letters of recommendation, and
•a personal goal statement.

2. Non–Degree
You may take courses without declaring a specific graduate major or stating a degree objective. Non–degree graduate admission status may be appropriate if you:
• intend to transfer graduate credits earned at Iowa State University to other institutions
• intend to use your graduate credits to obtain professional certification
•enroll for personal satisfaction
•enroll in graduate courses periodically for professional update

Registering for courses
All courses are offered through ISU Continuing Education. Register online or download a registration form. Current and former ISU students must be in good academic standing to enroll.
