A faculty member from Educational Leadership and Policy
Studies will be appointed as your adviser. Your adviser
will serve as the chair of the admissions review committee,
and be responsible for verification of the requirements
for certification.
The
scope and nature of advising of CAS students is less formal
and rigorous than that for degree-seeking students. Substitutions
for courses from Iowa State University or other institutions
shall be at the discretion of the adviser in congruence
with license requirements.
"I
find the classes and professors are a great help to me in
my current position. Iowa State's higher education experience
has been flexible and achievable. This program has allowed
me to work aggressively towards my superintendent license."
