about the components of the criminal and juvenile justice
systems, become acquainted with the issues and problems
affecting these systems, and apply theories and concepts
to real world problems.
Six
courses in criminal justice studies are available online.
A minor in criminal justice studies is 15 credits of course
work and a practicum (CJ St 460/Sociology 460) of at least
three credits. Criminal justice studies courses were first
offered online in fall 2003.
