Workshop: Exploring Precision Farming and Data Analysis Course
Course: Technology Systems Management (TSM) 493J, XA
Principles of systems for precision farming including Global Positioning Systems (GPS), remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and variable rate application technology. Field, crop, and soil sampling for precision farming. Spatial data analysis, visualization and interpretation. The course includes hands-on instruction using state-of-the-art GPS receivers and GIS software.
Computer Requirements: Working knowledge of Windows and some basic understanding of GPS.
