Topics in Horticulture: Vegetable Crops
Course: Horticulture (HORT) 193E

Whether you are new to gardening or an experienced gardener, get your garden to be productive. Get step-by-step instructions, helpful hints, and design ideas to help throughout the growing season, from planning to harvesting. Study and learn to manage potential problems in vegetable production including pests, diseases, weeds, and environmental disorders. Examine specific cultural practices for selected vegetable varieties and in-depth fact sheets. Learn the basics of growing vegetables in containers - which varieties work well, what soil to use, and fertilizer requirements. Learn harvesting techniques and how to best store various vegetables.
