Program Development in Family and Consumer Sciences
Course: Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies (FCEdS) 507, section XA

Application of principles of program development to formal and nonformal educational settings, e.g. secondary school family and consumer sciences programs, training positions in business, Cooperative Extension, human services agencies.
Prerequisite: professional experience in family and consumer sciences or related area
Computer requirement: Internet access and e-mail capability
Dates: July 10-15 plus independent work
Day/Time: Sunday 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Delivery method: on ISU campus and online

Advanced Research Methods in Family and Consumer Sciences
Course: Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies (FCEdS) 626X, section XA

Examination of various modes of inquiry used to conduct research in educational arenas. Empirical/analytic, interpretive and critical/post-modern inquiries will be discussed. Research proposal developed.
Prerequisite: FCEdS 511 (Research Methods)
