and nonformal educational settings, e.g. secondary school
family and consumer sciences programs, training positions
in business, Cooperative Extension, human services agencies.
Prerequisite: professional experience in family and consumer
sciences or related area

Examination of various modes of inquiry used to conduct
research in educational arenas. Empirical/analytic, interpretive
and critical/post-modern inquiries will be discussed. Research
proposal developed.
