Feminism
Philosophy
Course: Philosophy (Phil) 338, section XA
This course critically examines the work that oppositions
such as sex/gender, self/other, subjectivity/objectivity,
and nature/nurture, does in philosophy and in our culture
more generally. In particular we will consider historical
and contemporary, that feminism engages issues of sexual
orientation, political equality, race, biology, violence
and pornography, as it works toward the personal and political
emancipation of women.

Historical and ideological survey of religions and wars.
Contemporary war writings and ancient themes. Special topics

the warrior), and Chinese martial arts strategies.
