Study of the relationship between college students and characteristics from 1950 to the present. Traditional assumptions about the impact of higher education on students will be reviewed and challenged. Campus issues and concerns relative to commuters and residential life will be discussed. Participants will analyze institutional responses to students through college missions, organizational development, structure, core curriculum and retention.
