Analysis and the Financing of Public Planning Projects
Course: Community and Regional Planning (C R P) 523, section
XQ (DVD)
The economic and fiscal make-up of a community, specifically
focusing on the certain tools - - shift/share, capital facilities
planning and fiscal impact analysis - - that are utilized
to analyze a communitys social and economic vitality.
Special emphasis will be placed on examining revenue enhancing
policies beyond the towns tax structure that are necessary
for the payment of public projects, including tax increment
financing, impact fees, and debt financing.
Prerequisite: graduate classification
