the Iowa State University campus in Ames.

Center has

--forms and information for financial aid, including grants
for part-time students; and
--GRE, GMAT, CLEP, and department testing information.
The
Center provides
--help with admission, registration, and transfer procedures;
--course planning and scheduling;
--referral to appropriate ISU advisers; and
--make-up test proctoring.

Inclement
Weather
If the Ankeny DMACC campus closes, Iowa State classes at
DMACC are canceled. Announcements are made by 4:00 p.m.
for evening classes and by 6:00 a.m. for Saturday classes.
Announcements are broadcast on television stations KCCI,
WHO, and WOI and most radio stations including KGGO, KIOA,
KMXD, KSTZ, and WHO.

When DMACC is in session, the computer lab is open 7:30
a.m.-10:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 7:30-4:00 Friday; and 9:00-1:00
Saturday. Check in with the lab monitor at the front desk
and show your ISUCard or give your social security number.
The lab monitor will give you a password and help you log-on.

Security is here to keep you safe. If you feel threatened,
call Security. On campus, DMACC Security can give you a
jump-start, assist with keys locked in a car, and provide
an emergency air tank for flat tires.
There
are coin telephones in every building and a number of coin
telephones on campus. There is an outside telephone at the
Northeast corner of Building 5 off parking lot K and in
the lobbies of Building 5. Check the lot where you park
for the nearest telephone. There are also intra-campus courtesy
phones in each building.

The DMACC Evening-Weekend college will assist if a home
or other emergency arises. You may leave this phone number
with a babysitter to use in case an emergency arises after
the ISU Center closes at 8:00 p.m. Messages will be delivered
to you only if the caller supplies the Evening-Weekend College
staff with your class name, building, and room number.
