The Iowa Communications Network (ICN) is a fiber optic network that connects learning centers throughout Iowa.
Iowa State uses an Internet-based video conferencing system, Polycom.


On-Site Credit Courses
   

DMACC, Ankeny campus and in Des Moines, plus other locations
Iowa State instructors drive to Ankeny to teach courses on the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) campus.
In the summer, many short workshops are offered on campus in Ames.
