Off-campus
and on-campus courses are the same
All Iowa State off-campus courses coordinated by ISU Extension
carry residential credit, the same credit awarded for study
on campus. Credits earned are recorded on an official ISU
transcript and may be applied toward degree programs at
ISU or elsewhere.
Transfer
credit acceptance is decision of home institution
Whether another institution will except credit in transfer
is always a decision made at the home institution, the one
that will eventually award the degree. You may need to submit
a course description to your academic adviser to make certain
the course covers material acceptable in your degree program.
